Indica Dominant Hybrid
AROMA: The smell of this Tahoe OG isn't as apparent from the jar, but it is still very aromatic directly from the nug. After a nug is ground up...WHEW it's a very pungent stench. Classic lemon pine diesel smell that stings the sinuses when taking a strong inhale. It is actually a very aromatic strain, and actually has a pleasant fragrance to even non-smokers.
TASTE: CLASSIC OG Kush flavor, lemon pine with a diesel citrus twist. It burns the sinuses upon exhale, and an eye watering burn at that. In my opinion, that's a classic sign to a well grown OG. It has an interestingly sweet aftertaste that stays on the tongue and in the nose. Great flavor overall, from the moment the smoke hits the tongue to long after the smoke leaves the lips. It actually tastes a little like flowers.
LOOK: BEAUTIFUL nug structure that is absolutely caked in thick, cloudy, and capped trichomes. It has a very classic OG nug structure, and is well manicured. It's a great looking strain, and something that has to be seen. There is a reason there is 4 pictures instead of 2!
EFFECTS: This is a very heavy hitter for a hybrid. It's originally a Sativa Dominant Hybrid, but I labeled it Indica (as did GSPA). It's an instant head changer that slowly creeps to the rest of the body. Relaxed my tense muscles within a minute or so, and settled into a euphoric head high that was heavy on the eyes. There is a nice balance, but this particular batch of Tahoe is heavier on the indica side than I've had before. Slight couch lock, good for pain & stress relief, and sleep aid. Nighttime strain.
Seeing a popular strain hit the shelves at GSPA is always a pleasure. This particular batch is absolutely, for lack of a better word, gorgeous. It has magazine quality aesthetics, and medicinal qualities to match. Great, great, great batch of Tahoe OG.
