CanniCorner: Cream Soda OG (Mystery Genetics)

AROMA: There is a very deep musky pine scent that is, for lack of a better word, creamy. There is a sour undertone to it accompanied by an earthy kush essence. It's a great smelling strain that becomes extremely pungent once a nug is broken up. Once a nug is completely ground up the stench released is much stronger than before.

TASTE: The musky pine scent becomes very apparent in the flavor that is very earthy, almost gritty, and fills the lung cavities quickly. The lung expansion is great, and causes a tickle at the back of the throat. It causes a few coughs, a little rougher than normal, but not harsh at all. The smoke is extremely creamy, and makes me wonder if the name came from that. There is actually a sweet after taste that could be distinguished as soda-like.

LOOK: This is a beautiful strain that absolutely shimmers in the light. Light green nugs, encompassed by bright orange hairs, have a trichome structure that is extremely attractive. The nugs are very dense, not "rock pot", so a good amount of the trichomes are hidden. The trichomes themselves hide slight purple streaks in the calyxes too, which was surprising to see.

EFFECTS: Calming, relaxing, and mind clearing high, the gradual onset put me into a great mood. There was a semi-couch lock effect, with a gentle pressure on the top of the eyes and forehead. It took the soreness out of my lower back within minutes, and loosened up the muscles within ten. I'm not scientist, but I'm going to guess this has a decently high Great medicinal qualities all around with this strain with a great "stoney" high to boot. Good for pain relief, relaxation, and stress relief. Great midday to nighttime strain.

This is another exclusive strain coming out of GSPA. It really is a treat to be able to try all of these unique crosses, even if I don't know what they are. The Cream Soda OG is definitely something that should be tried at least once. It may not be the best for everyone, but it definitely works for my needs.
