Indica Dominant Hybrid
Price: $45 per 1/8th
AROMA: There is a very deep earthy piney aroma to this, with a slight hint of that "purps" smell. It is definitely a unique smelling strain, and the smell is actually what caught my "nose". I normally only medicate with the top echelon tier of meds, but the smell from this made me try it out. It has an extremely earthy scent to it that reminds me of an almost organic grow. (Not quite, but almost).
TASTE: The meds were actually really dry, so it smokes extremely well. Unfortunately, because of the dryness, it seems like a little bit of the flavor was lost. The "purps" taste becomes a little more apparent, the pine sensation disappears a bit, and the earthiness overpowers everything else. It's an interesting taste...not the best out there, a little bland, but definitely flavorful in its own right.
LOOK: Pale green nugs with similarly colored leaves, the dark orange hairs are accented by the trich structure. The nugs are a bit airy, but nothing to complain about. It still has considerable density for the way it looks. The trichomes are beautiful on this strain, and absolutely cake certain areas. It's an attractive strain, and its mystery is what intrigued me even more than the smell.
EFFECTS: This is an indica dominant (I believe) hybrid that puts slight pressure on the eyes with a subtle euphoric twist. It relaxes the muscles and provides a calming sensation. It is definitely not an instant hitter, as the high is much more gradual, so it's great for my stress relief. It is good for mild pain relief, and a nicely balanced hybrid. It's definitely not a morning strain, because it's a little heavy on the indica side. Great midday strain though.
I grabbed this Unknown, because...well it's Unknown and smells very unique. I wanted to try one of CCC's "lower" shelves, and this is one (maybe two) steps above from their bottom. It still hits like a top shelf, and is still a great deal at the $45 donation. All three meds from CCC received stellar reviews, so I foresee many more reviews on their meds in the future. The flowers were pretty dry, so it brought the grade down a bit.
