AROMA: Coffee smell with hints of skunk. It has a very pungent stench to it, so make sure it's in a good container. The scent of this strain is great, and reminiscent of its classic crosses. If you like the smell of OG, you will love the smell of this Deadhead OG.
TASTE: Surprisingly nothing like the smell. It has an OG flavor with a hint of lime. The taste spreads quickly on the tongue as soon as the smoke hits, and dances around the taste buds. Upon exhale it has a mild burn in the sinuses, the good type of burn, and the aftertaste is also great.
LOOK: Absolutely CAKED in amber trichomes. It was difficult shooting a picture of this strain because the nugs kept coming out too white against the background. The nugs shimmer at certain angles of light. The nug structure is more like the Chemdog than the SFV. It is a very sticky strain, so be wary of it. It took me awhile to get the trichs off my fingertips.
EFFECTS: Leaning more towards the sativa side, but has a nice balance. It is a definite creeper. It hits the body first, slowly creeps up to the head, and slowly puts pressure on the eyes. There is an interesting euphoric kick that comes around later on. Great midday strain, good for mild pain relief, and possibly anxiety.
This is a GREAT OG, and a legit Deadhead cut. It is a very potent med, so it might not be for everyone. Anyone looking for a very potent, heavy indica dom can look no further. This is definitely from a different batch than the last time I had it, and this one is even better. It seems to have become a staple for GSPA, but in case it hasn't...don't miss it.
