CanniCorner: Miami White (Florida White Widow x Humboldt OG Kush)

AROMA: The scent of this strain is outstanding, with a pungent mix of both spice from the White Widow and a lemon zest from the OG Kush. This is entirely from the nug, so when one is broken up an earthy pine scent is released. There is also an interesting sweet undertone that gives the strain an extremely aromatic smell. It really could be used as an air freshener, and not just for people who smoke. It is a great smelling strain, and one that truly is a perfect balanced smell between WW and OG.

TASTE: The flavor of the strain is even more pungent than the smell, which is really surprising since it's usually the other way around. The lemon zest OG flavor takes hold of the taste buds almost immediately due to the thick smoke, and then dissipates into an extremely spicy flavor from the White Widow. The spicy side takes over the atertaste completely, and the earthy pine settles in the sinuses and at the back of the throat. The taste is even better than the aroma.

LOOK: Popcorn nug structure with hunter green nugs, the trichomes absolutely cake the nugs so much that they appear to be light green. The short copper colored hairs hug the nugs closely, along with the great manicure job to it. Miami White is known for it's frostiness, but the trichome structure on this particular batch is ridiculous. Every single trichome is either cloudy or slightly amber...every single one. The growers harvested this plant almost perfectly. Great looking strain, and, in my humble opinion, is better than the hydro version of it.

EFFECTS: This Miami White is an unequivocally potent sativa dominant hybrid that hits you in the face right away. Normally I smoke two small bowls out of a bubbler to review a strain (one more if needed), but I stopped to write this review after one bowl. ONE small bowl out of a small Sheldon Black bubbler. The effects put pressure at the top of the eyes, and relaxes the entire body. The cerebral kick causes the eyes to cross if you aren't focusing on something, and puts one into a carefree state of mind. Good for pain relief, stress relief, relaxation, and possibly migraines. Great daytime (for experienced smokers) to midday strain.

I'm essentially floored...I've had "Miami White" from other collectives, but waited for Ricochet to come back to review it. NONE of the other Miami Whites came even close to Loompa Farms' cut. It's great to see Ricochet back with brick and mortar, as their delivery coverage area was limited before they found a location. I'm going to say it now: This should be the only Miami White to buy within a 50 mile radius of Ricochet.
