STRUCTURE: The 5mm thick glass gives this piece a sturdy feel to it especially around the joints near the inline percolator and double showerhead perc. There is also a 3 pronged ice pinch at the top, and an additional diffuser/splash guard underneath it. I must say that the most surprising aspect of the structure is the way it is weighted. I'm type of person that likes their piece clean, so in the last 24 hours I've already cleaned this one (with alcohol only). At no point did it feel uncomfortable or uneasy to hold while I was shaking it. The joint for the double showerhead makes a perfect handle for cleaning, though I would definitely suggest getting an ash catcher for it. The real platinum labeling of the Pulse logo in the tube and slide are also a unique touch that makes these pieces stand out.
NOTE: I, already, accidentally bumped the piece, while it was on carpet, and it simply swayed back and forth a couple of times without any indication of tipping over. My curiosity was piqued, so I tested the 5.5" base balance. The result? It takes a relatively substantial bump to knock it completely over. There's only one bad thing I can say about its structure: It's so well constructed that I may get too comfortable and not be as careful with it as I should be.
FUNCTION: Personal preference plays a significant role in how people choose their meds, and it is my opinion that it is the same for pieces. Pulse Glass has unique designs across the board from their honeycomb to shower head to inline percs, and each have different aspects that suit different people. This double showerhead inline is the piece for anyone looking for maximum smoke with minimal effort. There is very little pull/draw (amount of suction) needed, and the smoke is diffused to the point where extremely thick and milky hits are easy to take. In fact, and more importantly, the flavor of the smoke was kept intact better than most water pipes I've ever tried.
Pulse is located in Southern California, and everything is blown in the Los Angeles area. They have booths at all the major expos, so if you have a chance at seeing them at one with a medicating area...do NOT miss them. Their booth presentation, professional employees, and excellent glass will impress even the most critical of people.
