CanniCorner: Jah OG (Light of Jah x OG Kush)

AROMA: Classic OG scent with an almost overpowering pine side, the aroma of this strain is a bit muted from the nugs themselves. However, after nugs are ground up, the smell becomes exponentially more pungent of the deep pine and a lemon diesel undertone. It has a very "clean" smell to it, and is reminiscent of a cool ocean breeze through a pine forest. Great smelling cut of OG, and a great cut of Jah OG.

TASTE: The deep pine from the aroma translates directly into the flavor, and has an intense lemon diesel aftertaste. The pine also has an gritty and earthy side to it, and almost has a dirt-like sensation in the flavor. There is a soothing "burn" in the sinuses upon exhale, and decent lung expansion from the thick and creamy smoke. Since the lemon diesel is more apparent in the flavor than the aroma, I tip my hat off to the taste.

LOOK: Light green nugs with relatively swollen calyxes, the bright orange hairs are almost hidden because they blend in with the amber trichomes. The nugs are a little bit leafy, but the stray leaves themselves hold onto quite a bit of trichomes themselves. The trichomes themselves are extremely bulbous, mostly amber, and also give this strain a shiny look in certain angles of life. It, in all honesty, isn't the most attractive strain there is at first glance, but the trichomes will definitely be its main attraction.

EFFECTS: Slight sativa kick that has an eye-opening and mind altering effect coupled with a heavy indica body high. The sativa effects give a unique twist to the high, as it has a couch lock body high, but a motivating and energizing sativa side. It felt as if the high could be switched between indica and sativa with a little concentration, and definitely a unique effect. In heavier doses the indica effects take hold, and eventually makes the eyes heavy and body extremely relaxed. Good for pain relief, stress relief, appetite gain, and sleep aid (in higher doses). Great midday to nighttime strain.

Jah OG is a combination of Light of Jah (a multiple Cannabis Cup winning haze like sativa that was created in honor of Jack Herer) and OG Kush. The energizing side to Jah OG definitely comes from the Light of Jah, with the heavy indica effects coming from the OG Kush. It's a potent medication, and the best part is that this was also grown 100% organic.
