AROMA: Classic OG lemon pine scent with a very slight diesel tinge that tickles the sinuses. The citrus lemon is the most prevalent aroma of the three, and has a sweet side to it that is pleasant. It is a relatively pungent strain both from the nug, and after being ground up; but after being ground up the aroma is released tenfold. Good smelling OG that is resminiscent of a Skywalker OG.
TASTE: The flavor of this strain is very similar to the smell, but the lemon diesel take a backseat to a deep earthy pine flavor. It is actually a little bit too piney, and burns the throat a little bit with a bit hit. There is decent lung expansion, so expect more than a few coughs. Aside from the slight burn in the throat, it's a good tasting OG.
LOOK: Tear drop nug structure with hunter green nugs and bright orange hairs. The calyxes are relatively swollen, which cause the hairs to have a shorter appearance. The trichomes cake the majority of the nugs, and give it a semi-frosty look. The majority of the trichs are cloudy, which is why it is only semi-frosty. The nugs are relatively dense, and grind up to a nice fluffy texture. It is a tiny bit leafy, but still an attractive strain.
EFFECTS: Relatively quick onset that puts pressure at the back of the eyes within minutes, the effects settle in on the body into a nice couch lock effect. There are little to no sativa effects, as the high is concentrated mainly on the body. The effects are decently heavy, and last a decent amount of time. Good for pain relief, stress relief, and sleep aid. Good nighttime strain.
The Liquid Venom OG was more potent than expected, especially at the price it is at. The pungent aroma will draw you in, and the heavy indica effects will keep you medicating with this. There are definitely great deals at Canna Grove Relief Center that need to be checked out.
