Evergreen Collective - Anaheim, CA
Evergreen Collective is located off of Lincoln and State College (Evergreen is the smaller street). It's inside a residential home that was converted for commercial use, and in the same building as a tax office. (There are signs for the tax office, so it's not hard to find if you know what you're looking at). There's parking right in front, but there's also neighborhood parking.
The lobby isn't really much of a lobby at first glance, as it's just the main entrance to a home. There's a desk blocking an entryway where you sign in, and a few chairs. It's not all that welcoming, but not a big deal because sign in is quick and easy. There is a waiting room to the left with more chairs and an ATM machine inside though.
The budroom is small, but definitely not cramped. Since this was a house before the setup is unique, as there's a lot of open space in the back (setup could be done differently to optimize the space). The setup of the glass cases is standard, so is the menu.
The staff here is really friendly and helpful, and I believe I got to speak to the manager too (who was the same). I stayed for a minute to converse with them all, and they all seemed genuinely interested and engaging in the conversation. It's a nice change of pace from the distanced, sometimes indifferent, BT's at the more commercial places.
The meds here are good, even for the slightly higher cap than other places ($50 1/8th). I got three different strains from them my first time, and all three made it up on the reviews which says something. If the cap drops to $45 in the future, this place will definitely be a contender, but even if it doesn't it's still worth it.
Evergreen Collective is brand new, and has only been open for a little while. After conversations with the manager it sounds like they are only going to get bigger and better, so we definitely look forward to future trips there.
