High Rollers Organic is located RIGHT off the 101 and Melrose. It's a little hard to find unless you know where you're going, so it's best to call them for directions. It's got more than a few designated parking spots for the place, but I wouldn't go there during busy hours (traffic and all on the 101).
The lobby is standard; seats, table, flyers, sign in window, etc. The TV was blaring, but the security guard turned it down while we were filling out paperwork. The security guard in the lobby, at least we think he was a security guard, was in a full suit. Sign in was quick and easy, so there were no problems there.
The budroom is relatively spacious, but more narrow than wide. The display jars are really interesting, as they're are two different sized display jars giving a "leveled" look. There were a lot of strains, and only one of the jars was near empty. They were well stocked. My only complaint would be the fact that the jars didn't appear to be too airtight.
The staff at HRO is friendly and helpful. Our specific BT wasn't too particularly knowledgeable on the genetics of the strains (which isn't a big deal), but she definitely gave good recommendations. The other BT's, that weren't helping us, were being friendly and conversing with us. There is a security guard in the budroom too, so they take patient security (and their own) pretty serious.
The meds at High Rollers Organic are definitely not the best I've ever seen, but for their cap this is definitely a spot to check out. The meds are still good and warrant an honorable mention, and are great quality for people trying to "ball on a budget". They had a lot of decent looking DOGO strains, and their ounce prices are great.
HRO is a legitimate collective for the masses. They fall short of the "connoisseur" category in our opinion, but by a small margin. Their meds may not be the best, but they offer ridiculous deals, wide variety, and great customer service. They get a thumbs up from us overall, and feel they deserve the mention.
