Hollywood Holistic is located right of Santa Monica Blvd (off the 405) and Sawtelle. There is only street parking, but there are a lot of spots. It might get crowded during busy hours, so going during off peak hours would be best.
The front door is secured, you have to be rung in, which is a nice touch of security. They ring you in pretty quickly, so you aren't sitting outside for too long. There is no lobby, just a sign in area, with a window to pass your docs and ID. Sign in was quick and easy, and is on return visits.
The budroom is spacious for what the place is, and there is a nice bench to sit on if you're waiting. The meds are kept in very good containers (not just plain old mason jars) which are displayed on the back wall. They have a VERY large selection of flowers, edibles, concentrates, and misc items for patients' needs.
The staff, especially the BT I dealt with, was phenomenal. It wasn't just by the way that he treated myself, or the friend that I took. It was the fact that while I was taking a long time to choose my meds, three other patients came in. While he was helping me the BT not only helped the other patients (I had no problem waiting), but knew their names and knew EXACTLY what they were looking for before they asked (they were obviously regulars). One of the patients was a Veteran, and he received 10% without having to show "proof" or "paperwork" (which I've seen required EVERY visit at other collectives) I was astonished... In all my years of going to collectives I don't think I've ever seen a BT with a memory like that. I was very impressed.
The meds at HH are top notch. They are a little on the higher end of the donation spectrum for their top shelf, but they they are worth every penny. Their "mid shelf" is still better than other places top shelf, their bottom shelf is better than other place's mid shelf, and...well you get the picture. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of meds here across the board.
Hollywood Holistic is a Pre-ICO MMD, and has been around since 2006. Across the board they are an astounding collective, and well deserve their eligibility. Prices be damned, they provide top quality medicine, and have a ridiculously good referral program. Check them out, and then go again with a friend...or two...or three.
