"Long story short, cannabis helped me stop self-harming."

I think all of us, at one point or another, have experienced a brief moment of doubt in our friendships, but our next testimonial constantly deals with that type of anxiety on regular basis:

"Long story short, cannabis helped me stop self-harming. It also helped with my eating disorder (EDNOS).

I also have a personality disorder that interferes with my relationships with other people. After being a daily smoker, I would toke while panicking about the false things I had done to make someone hate me, and it would help me think through my crisis. It helped me realize it was in my head, and my friends were not plotting against me.

At first, it made my personality disorder worse because of the anxiety/paranoia. Now, with a higher tolerance, cannabis helps me relax."

This is not a typical testimonial one would normally see regarding cannabis. This person actually admitted that cannabis made their disorder worse at one point. We wanted to share this story because we feel as if both sides of the story should be told when applicable. This person's personality disorder, which at times, can be detrimental to a lot of things other than their social status. Focus on the bad if you want... "Cannabis made their disorder worse." Yes, yes it did, but cannabis, now, helps this person. Would this person have gone through the anxiety and paranoia if there were regulated cannabis products with dosages geared specifically towards anxiety? We don't think so.

Thank you for sharing your story with us, and we appreciate your honesty. We hope that you continue to find relief, with or without cannabis, and hope that keep your head up!
