CanniCorner: Gandalf OG (Louis XIII x Skywalker)

AROMA: VERY, very, very, very pungent OG smell. If you think my use of the word "very" is excessive, go smell for yourself. Piney skunk with a lemon twist, the stench of this strain is ridiculous. A quarter stunk up my car so much that I didn't want to open my windows...I seriously thought people behind me would be able to smell it. If Skywalker OG is one of your favorite strains, smelling the Gandalf might make you faint.

TASTE: Earthy, gritty, pine flavor with a slight lemon twist aftertaste, it smokes well, and leans more on the Skywalker side. It has ridiculous lung expansion, and in case you're wondering it burns into white ash. If you are not an OG smoker, and don't like coughing, you might not want to smoke this. It doesn't hurt my lungs or my throat, but it definitely made me cough more than normal.

LOOK: Deep forest green leaves and calyxes, with bright orange hairs, the trichomes make the nugs shimmer at almost any angle. The trichomes absolutely cake the nugs which are well manicured. There are only a few stray leaves here and there, with an overall exquisite appearance. Pictures of this strain and batch should be used as the definition for "OG". The pictures speak for themselves...but what they don't say is how absolutely sticky the nugs are. I didn't try it, but I'm pretty sure you could stick a nug to a piece of paper...very easily. It left residue in the ziploc bag...I'm not joking.

EFFECTS: It is an absolutely HEAVY indica, with an interesting head high. It's not a sativa head high...but an almost narcotic sensation. It seriously felt like I took a large wax dab...not even exaggerating. EXCELLENT for my back pain and sore muscles, and good for gaining an appetite. NIGHT TIME strain.

I've smoked cannabis from a lot of different cities, states, and even countries. Quite a few of those places had excellent marijuana. However, I can say, without any hesitation, that this is in my top 3 favorite strains/batches/nugs/whatever of all time. I rarely use this word, but this Gandalf OG is absolute FIRE. I don't even care if this review is talking the quality of this strain up too much... I'm ok with that. If people don't like it, then that leaves more for me. You CANNOT miss this strain... Legends will be made of this batch.
