Pure Lights (Unconfirmed NL x Unconfirmed NL)

Sativa
Golden State Patients Association
Price: $45 per 1/8th

AROMA: There is a very pungent pine smell with a skunk accent.   It is a strong stench to it, especially after being broken apart.  Anyone who knows the smell of NL#5 will absolutely LOVE this smell.  It has a sour twist that makes me scrunch my nose whenever I take a deep inhale of it.

TASTE:  This has a VERY earthy pine flavor to it, and it felt like I was transported to middle of a forest.  It leaves an interesting aftertaste on the tongue, but it leaves a very prominent after "smell" in the sinuses.  I felt it in my sinuses long after I exhaled.  It's a great tasting strain for anyone who enjoys that earthy pine NL flavor.

LOOK: Light green nugs accented by short orange hairs that are absolutely caked in largely capped trichomes.  This has the exact nug structure of other legit NL strains I've had, so I have absolutely no doubt about the crosses.  It's a great looking strain that any NL fans will definitely appreciate.

EFFECTS:  The onset of the high occurs within a couple of minutes, that settles at the back of the head and neck.  There is heavy pressure on the back of the eyes, with a very relaxing body and cerebral/euphoric highIt's an interesting high since the other Northern Lights I've had were all heavy indicas.  It's a great stress reliever, and a midday strain to night time strain.

This is a very interesting strain, with an interesting high.  It is labeled as a sativa, so it honestly left me scratching my head.  I always thought that Northern Lights was a heavy indica.  The only other legitimate inbred sativa dominant hybrid Northern Lights strain I've ever encountered was P91, a cubed (NL x NL x NL) version from an original mother, which I haven't seen in a decade or so.  Northern Lights is one of the cannabis world's most well known strains, so let's consider this fact and the fact that there are eleven different types of Northern Lights.  Regardless of what NL is "supposed to be"... This hits like a sativa dominant hybrid (for me), is a great cross, and I'm happy that I got to try it.  This isn't something you'll come across everyday, so don't miss out.
