AROMA: This Blackberry Kush doesn't have as sweet of an aroma as other Blackberry Kushes at FIRST...but don't let that fool it. As soon as a nug is completely broken, or ground, the pungent stench of the sweet, sweet Blackberry hits you right in the sinuses. I always loved Blackberry Kush, but this cut makes me love it even more.
TASTE: Blackberry Kush, in my opinion, is one of the more flavorful kushes there is. It is much sweeter than other kushes, but usually lacks the earthy kush flavor. This Blackberry Kush has an earthy sweetness to it, that smokes very well into a creamy cloud that tickles your tongue. Immediately upon exhale it stung my nose and made my eyes water a bit...but I'm not too sure whether or not it was because of the kush or if I was getting misty eyed.
LOOK: Absolutely caked in trichomes, this batch reminds me of Golden State or 2010 in regards to looks. There are capped...trichomes...everywhere. The pictures don't lie, and neither do I. However, the one story the pictures don't tell is what's underneath. After grinding up a small nug I noticed bright and dark streaks of purple darting back and forth in between the grounds with still attached frosty trichs. It looked so good I didn't want to smoke it, but...I did.
EFFECTS: Heavy indica with a nice sativa kick that keeps you awake, and a little bit alert. It's a very relaxing and euphoric high. Feels good for anxiety, as the euphoria is causing a very insouciant attitude. This is probably NOT something I'd smoke before doing something serious/important, but definitely something I'd smoke for just about everything else. I ate dinner just before medicating, and, though I'm not hungry, I could eat again. Blackberry has always been good for appetite gain, and this strain doesn't seem to fall far from the tree at all.
