Sativa
Price: $45 per 1/8th
AROMA: Deep fruity scent from the Blueberry, with a nice skunk twist from the Haze. The aroma isn't as pungent out of the jar as I was expecting, but once a nug is ground up the scent becomes very strong. The sweet sensation overtakes the skunk twist once it's ground up.
TASTE: There is a great balance between the sweet and skunky sensations on the lips. The fruity flavor dances on the tastebuds, while the skunk sits and burns the sinuses. There is a lot more flavor than there is smoke, which is surprising. There is a very mild aftertaste also.
LOOK: Light green nugs with a slightly dark shade of green leaves, the pistils are a very light, almost peach, color. The trichome structure is, as usual, excellent with a mixture of both clear and opaque caps. The nugs appear airy, but are actually deceptively dense. I will admit that it isn't the best looking Blue Dream I've seen, but I know that the look is only a part of the story.
EFFECTS: Gradual onset that puts pressure on the eyes rather quickly, there is a very euphoric twist. The cerebral side has a very calming sensation, and is a good stress reliever. It settled into a very relaxing full body high after about half an hour or so. The high gets a little intense, but nothing overwhelming. It was much more potent than I thought it was going to be.
GSPA providing another well done, popular strain, this Blue Dream is a heavy sativa. It put my brain in a couch lock (not sure if that makes sense), as it is very potent. I like this Blue Dream batch better than the last, but only by a slim margin.
