Indica
AROMA: I hate to be redundant, but there really is a "deep purple" scent to this strain. It also has a very earthy tone to the aroma with a kush twist. It's pungent both from the med container, and after being broken up/ground. It's also rather aromatic, at least for anyone who is a fan of cannabis, and is a pleasant scent. A pleasant scent that is also a pungent stench.
TASTE: There is a very earthy, gritty kush flavor to this. The "purp" flavor is actually not very apparent, as the kush flavor overpowers it. It smokes very well, so there is full flavor with every hit. There is a great sting in the sinuses after exhale, not too intense and not too mild. I'm not the biggest fan of purple strains, but this is a great tasting one.
LOOK: Great nug structure that look like enlarged popcorn nugs (in a good way). It's interesting because there isn't much purple, at least not as much as the name implies, but they streak out into the calyxes. The nugs are absolutely caked in capped trichomes, that give it a nice frosty look. The majority of the caps are clear, but there are still a decent amount of opaque trichs. It's definitely an attractive strain.
EFFECTS: This is a heavy hitting indica, as are most purple strains. It relaxed my muscles almost instantly, and made my eyelids very heavy. It alleviated my sore muscles and my back pain, which is a nice combination to have. It has an almost narcotic effect, and is also good for sleep aid. Great night time strain.
This is a great strain from HRO, and the best out of the batches I tested. It's a heavy indica that did a great job for my pain relief. If I had to guess, I would say that it's a Purple Kush cross. I thoroughly enjoyed testing this.
