CanniCorner: Girl Scout Cookies (Cherry Pie x OG Kush)

AROMA: There is a sweet, sweet aroma to this that smells like an empty box of cookies. It's mix between a cherry-like scent and purp scent from the GDP. It also has a deep earthy undertone to it, which I'm going to associate to the OG in it. It's a great smelling cut of Girl Scout Cookies, and one of the more legitimate ones I've encountered (since having "real" GSC in San Francisco).

TASTE: The cherry-like essence disappears on the flavor because it is replaced with a very earthy purp flavor. It has a slight lemon diesel kick to it, so it's interesting to taste the OG (I'm assuming). The earthiness has a very slight pine kick that becomes apparent in the sinuses, and leaves that soothing burn. It has a deep GSC flavor to it, however, the nug was a bit dry, so I wish I could have tasted it when it was fresher.

LOOK: Foxtail nug structure with slight streaks of purple throughout the calyxes and some leaves. It is absolutely frosty with great structured trichomes throughout the entire nug. The trichs cause the nugs to shine in the light, which compliment the bright orange hairs. The neon green nugs are encased with darker shaded leaves, and really are very attractive.

EFFECTS: Heavy indica with a gradual onset, I've noticed that a lot of CCC's meds are "creepers", which is a good thing. The level of the high intensifies gradually for a relatively long time, and plateaus at a pleasantly intense level. It puts a nice sensation on the back of the neck, and loosened my tense shoulders putting me in a very relaxed state. There is a very slight, but nice, cerebral kick to it too. Great for pain relief, stress relief, but not anxiety (due to the intensity of the high). Great nighttime strain.

I tried the Cherry Kush Girl Scout Cookies version years ago in San Francisco from a legitimate collective there. I've tried the Girl Scout Cookies cuts here in Southern California from many collectives, but very few have lived up to the SF cut. CCC's cut is one of them (especially considering it's the Cherry Pie cross, and not the Cherry Kush one), and a quality one at that. It burns to complete white ash, more than some cigarettes, so it was flushed extremely well. Great well done cut of a popular strain. Note: It would have been given an A++ if it was at a lower donation.
