Indica Dominant Hybrid
AROMA: CLASSIC pine lemon diesel fuel OG Kush scent. The smell of this strain reminds me of a strain of OG that I used to get from a private source, which was some of the best OG I've ever had. I will admit that the smell isn't as pungent as I thought it would be, but the aromatic OG scent is absolutely mouth-watering.
TASTE: Again, CLASSIC pine lemon diesel fuel OG kush flavor. I hate to repeat myself, but I have no other way of describing it. It smokes extremely well, so the lemon diesel taste hits first. It's followed by an earthy, gritty pine after taste that stings the sinuses. It made my eyes water...but it was probably 50% sting and 50% pure joy.
LOOK: Great nug structure, but the manicure job could have been done better. The pictures were taken after a re-trim, but the amazing thing is the fact that my fingers were sticking to the keyboard after pulling off some leaves. Light green nugs surrounded by bright orange hairs, the caps on the trichomes are abnormally large. If there was an entry in the dictionary for "sticky bud", there would be a picture of this.
EFFECTS: This is an instant body/head changer with an quick onset. It has a nice balance between couch-lock and cerebral, with a great euphoric twist. It's good for pain relief too as it loosened up my stiff muscles, and distracted me from the sore ones. It's a good combination of both indica/sativa effects, and perfect for my medicinal needs. Great midday to nighttime strain.
This is what OG Kush is supposed to be like, and it's great to have the opportunity to try this out. (The manicure job brought the grade down, but it is still a magnificent example of OG Kush). The crosses that come out of GSPA is something beyond my imagination, so it's great to see such unique genetics.
