Appearance: This bud is absolutely beautiful. Every last bit of the bud is purple (some sugar leaf tips are a greyish green/blue color). The bud is caked in trichs with long flowing burnt orange hairs throughout the nug. The bud structure is really unique and cool definitely exhibits more sativa like growing patterns as it has long finger like buds that show some foxtailing.
Aroma: This is one of my favorite aspects of this bud. It reminds me of a fruity ammonia scent initially with rushes of chocolate earthy hashiness on the back end. Has the typical floral lavender like smell lingering in there as well.
Taste: This stuff tastes incredible. My best description of it’s taste through both vaping and smoking it is that it reminds me of the blue Tootsie pops. Almost exactly spot on fruity tootsie roll flavor. The sessions flavors quickly go from fruity to a deep floral earthy taste on the exhale….No ammonia on the taste or any sort of chem taste you’d typically see with some Catpiss Cuts.
Effects: This is a very well rounded Hybrid. While I wasn’t very focused and concentrated I didn’t feel so out of that I needed to go lay down or just watch TV. Seems like this would be a great all day smoke for someone looking for that in between couch-lock and that uppity sativa as it still gives you some energy just not the motivation to actually do it. Definitely good for anyone working in the creative industry or just needs some time to clear your thoughts so you can generate some newer better ones!
Overall: I really enjoyed this strain…..not quite as much as the original catpiss but this was a good change up from what I’m usually smoking on. It definitely satisfied my purple craving as it is that time of year! This bud would do well for people seeking relief from mild pain, headaches, stress. My best wrap up on this bud is that it’s like having a glass of wine at the end of the day, great to unwind with.
