CanniCorner: Queen Elizabeth OG (Mystery Genetics)

AROMA: This strain has a very interesting aroma... It smells like earth. Don't mistake this for it smelling like dirt, because it doesn't. It smells like earth. It's hard for me to explain. It has pine undertones, and a very slight sweet smell to it. It doesn't really smell like lemon diesel, but there is a slight sweet side to it. The scent is actually a bit muted, but it is unique.

TASTE: The flavor of this is surprisingly strong, considering the non-pungent nature of the aroma. It has a very apparent lemon diesel flavor with the pine settling in the nostrils. It doesn't have as much of that sinus "burn" as I'd like, but it's still there. It's a a very tasty strain, and a great OG.

LOOK: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This is probably one of my favorite looking strains to date from GSPA. It's positively drop dead gorgeous. Yes, I just described a strain of cannabis the same way I would describe a woman. I don't always do that, but this deserves it. Foxtail light green nugs, darker shaded leaves, with dark orange hairs. The hairs really accent the trichomes, as they are absolutely caked all over the nugs. The extremely bulbous caps give this strain a shimmering look in almost any angle of light. Gorgeous.

EFFECTS: Heavy indica that made my face flush after a hit (I barely coughed, so it wasn't due to that). The effects come in a massive wave of sensation that spreads out from the lungs to the rest of the body. At first it seems like a quick onset, but that was only because of my face becoming flushed. After about 5 minutes the high became relatively intense, and locked me into my desk chair. At the time my feet were practically frozen cold, but I couldn't seem to move to put on socks. Great for my sore muscles and pain relief (hurt my shoulder earlier in the week, and completely distracted me from the pain). It also seems to be great for sleep aid. GREAT nighttime strain.

This strain looks absolutely incredible, and is very potent. I really wish the scent was more pungent... It would have been A+++'s across the board, but the muted smell brought it down a little. I still really like this strain, so don't let the lack of a strong stench ward you off from this. I don't think it's going to be around for long...
