AROMA: This has an earthy pine scent with a light coffee accent. Once ground up the lemon diesel OG scent becomes apparent. The scent is a little muted, as it isn't as pungent as I was expecting, but it is still a great smell. Definitely an interesting OG scent since it has the ground coffee twist.
TASTE: Lemon diesel fuel with the coffee become much more apparent in the flavor. This strain smokes well, and has good lung expansion. It puts a tickle in the back of the throat after exhale, and leaves a pine coffee twist in the sinuses. It has the signature burn in the sinuses, and made my eyes water a bit. It also made my face flush after a couple of hits.
LOOK: Light green nugs surrounded by bright orange hairs, the trichomes make the hairs stand out even more. Their structure isn't as impressive as the Queen Elizabuth, but they are, however, still very attractive as the long stalks have extremely bulbous caps. "Golfballs on tees" is what they look like. Great nug structure with a decent manicure (I had to pull of a couple of stray leaves before taking a pic, no big deal at all).
EFFECTS: This is another heavy indica OG that hits very quickly, but with a gradual onset. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but it's sort of like turning the volume up on a stereo system. It's not an instant "on" type of high. Though it is a heavy indica, there is a slight cerebral twist to it that is very interesting (and nice). Relaxed my muscles, and relieved my back pain...however it isn't really the most effective medicinal strain for them. It is extremely "stoney" though, and definitely a stress reliever. It put me in a great mood, and didn't make me lethargic at all. It's a great midday strain for experienced patients, and a nighttime strain for all.
If you liked the Sour Cream then you will like this OG cut. I'm not comparing the highs, but I was told this by a budtender (I, for the life of me, honestly cannot remember the reason...sorry, I blame Queen E and this OG). Either way, it is a very "stoney" cut of OG, so anyone looking for that should take notice. It's another great example of an indica heavy OG, and definitely something that has to be checked out.
