Sativa
AROMA: There is a fruity scent to this, reminiscent of Blueberry, with an earthy twist. It's a very sweet smelling strain that becomes very pungent once a nug is broken up. It smells so good that it's actually a little eye-opening. The earthy piney twist, I'm assuming, is from the Maui Wowie.
TASTE: This strain smokes decent, but as soon as the smoke hits your lips you can taste a very sweet flavor. It's got a blueberry flavor to it that packs a fruity twist. The smell/flavor settles in the sinuses and leaves a great after effect. There is a bit of the earthy pine to the flavor also.
LOOKS: Light green nugs with a darker shade of green leaves surrounding dark orange hairs, it has great nug structure. There are a ton of trichomes that make this strain shine at certain angles. The manicure could have been done a little better, but the leaves that were not trimmed are great for tea. It is still a very attractive strain.
EFFECTS: This is a very quick hitting sativa that is almost an instant head changer. It settles around the head, and heavy on the eyes. It gets a bit intense, but ultimately settles onto a nice euphoric and cerebral level. It's a great stress reliever, but the high does have a quick onset (so it may not be good for anxiety). Great daytime to midday strain.
Sugar's Blues is another great sativa from GSPA, and an amazing cross of classic strains. The interesting part is the fact that it is from a Blueberry Pheno that's not DJ Short's.
