Sativa

AROMA: There is a very subtle sweetness to this strain that reminds me a little bit of banana, which might be because it's named The Banana. There is also a potpourri like smell, not in a chemical like way, but like flowers. It's an interesting smelling strain, not the most pungent there is, but still pleasant. There is a bit of earthiness to the fragrance too.
TASTE: The flavor is much stronger than the aroma gives off, and has a flowerly sweetness to it. It has a slight banana-esque flavor to it, not really exactly like bananas, but close enough for cannabis. It smokes well into a very thick & creamy smoke that is full of flavor. It leaves a slightly tangy aftertaste, which is interesting, and a soothing burn in the sinuses. Great flavor, and like I said before, that is much stronger than the aroma suggests.
LOOK: The look of this strain isn't as photogenic as other GSPA strains. The nugs are dense, compacted a tad bit, and are covered in trichomes. The manicure also isn't the best, but it was far from lazy. The light greens nugs are surrounded by dark orange hairs. It really isn't that great looking when you get down to the smaller nugs, but the larger nugs are very attractive.
EFFECTS: Quick onset sativa high that puts a lot of pressure on the highs, it has a nice euphoric kick to it. It also has a cerebral side that put me into a very hypnotic like state. It is definitelyi not one of those "racey" or "get up and go" sativas by any means. It is a very relaxing and mellow high, that is relatively long lasting. Good for stress relief, and possibly anxiety for some patients.
I was unable to confirm whether or not this was a Banana Kush cross, or The "real" Banana strain...either way it's a great strain that is extremely relaxing. I was expecting more of a mind clearing head high, but got a mind numbing state of relaxation that had a steady pace with no fluctuations. Great for anyone looking for that type of medication.
