Looks: Beautiful large lime green buds sparkling with trichs all over. The deep orange hairs (almost red on certain buds) flow elegantly. Very good trim job practically no leafs or sugar leaves to be seen. When held up in light the bud literally shimmers.
Aroma: This stuff smells DANK DANK DANK. It’s a great change up from the usual OG scent you see all over SoCal lately. It reminds me of freshly dried sheets mixed with limeade and a lavender organic smell. It’s great…..the drier sheet anaology is referring to the kind of vanilla smelling dryer sheets you can buy. Smells amazing fruity and smooth.
Taste: This goes down so smooth. It’s like inhaling orange cream soda that someone dipped in vanilla extract. Extremely fruity and pungent on the first inhale (actually does resemble vanilla!) The bowl progresses to a more burnt marshmellow taste and finishes to white ash showing good flush. THIS IS A MUST TRY FOR TASTE!!!!
Effects: This is a great indica very mellow and relaxing. It’s very strong you can feel an instant body change upon the first inhale which is something I look for in a good indica. It didn’t make me overly tired but drowsy enough to the point where I’m sure if I closed my eyes I’d have drifted right off. Highly recommend this strain for anyone who isn’t a huge OG fan looking for a good knockout stone without the typical Indica taste/smell.
Overall: I was very pleased with Barney’s Farm Vanilla Kush and I’d recommend picking some up if you can. It’s one of those great non-OG strains that sticks true to it’s Indica roots. If you’ve ever had any other crosses with anything from Kaskmir you’ll understand how smooth smoking really can be. This night time wonder or even early evening would work very well for moderate pain, sleep and for daytime uses I’d say panic attacks or napping. Can’t stress enough the smell and taste of this bud is incredible haven’t smelled to many indica dominate strains like this before.
