AROMA: This strain isn't the most pungent Banana OG kush I've smelled, but it is definitely one of the most similar to an actual banana smell I've ever encountered. It smells like a banana peel was dipped in lemon diesel fuel. The lemon diesel side also has an earthy undertone from it, so it seems like there is a nice balance between the crosses.
TASTE: The very thick, and creamy, smoke gives full flavor right away as soon as it touches the tongue. The banana sort of disappears in the flavor, but becomes apparent in the aftertaste. Even though the banana disappear a bit, there is still a very sweet essence to the taste. The earthy lemon diesel kick takes over on the tongue, and has a soothing kush burn in the nostrils.
LOOK: ABSOLUTELY b-e-a-utiful light green nugs with peach colored pistils, the nugs are absolutely caked in trichomes. The trich structure is also gorgeous with extremely long stalks topped with bulbous caps. I really didn't even want to smoke this nug because it looked so good. I'm not kidding...it took me 2 full minutes to figure out which part to break off first to review. It's a GREAT looking strain...very hard to get over how good it looks.
EFFECTS: Great balanced hybrid with a very relaxing body high. The sativa effect has a very cerebral kick that puts light pressure around the temples and back of the head. There is also a euphoric side to it that puts a smile on the face for a long time. Since it's crossed with Banana, the high isn't the most intense there is, but the OG gives it a relatively intense side. The onset of the high is also gradual, so this strain should be good for anxiety. Great for stress relief, relaxation, and an all around good feeling. Great daytime to midday strain.
Anyone that knows the strain Banana knows that the high from it isn't known to be intense. It is known to be a long lasting, steady high, without peaks or valleys, which is the kind of high I enjoy. This is a great balance between the Banana and OG highs, and a gorgeous strain. The second I saw it I knew I was looking at something special.
