AROMA: There is a very sweet, classic, Blue Dream scent to this. It has the fruitiness from the Blueberry, and tangy side from the Haze. Once nugs are ground up they become very pungent, and the tangy side becomes much more apparent. It's a pleasant smelling Blue Dream batch, not the most pungent, but definitely fruitier and sweeter than others.
TASTE: The flavor has much more of a Haze side than Blueberry, with a nice earthiness to it. The smoke is thick and creamy giving full flavor on the tongue right away. There is slight lung expansion, but not enough to cause any coughing. It has a nice aftertaste too, leaving a sweet sensation in the sinuses and on the tongue. It tastes a lot better than the smell suggests though.
LOOK: Light green nugs caked in trichomes are accented with the peach colored hairs. It has the classic tear drop nug structure that Blue Dream tends to have. The only negative is the manicure job, which was done a bit lazy. There were a lot of stray sugar leaves, which turned me off of choosing this. (I was given this nug as a sample for my FTP deal, and I'm happy I was). Don't make the same mistake I did, because this is a good batch of Blue Dream.
EFFECTS: This is a very clean, heavy sativa with a great cerebral kick. This batch of Blue Dream is a great day starter. It has a gradual onset, but is by no means a creeper. There is a very relaxing side to the high that made me want to go outside, lay in the grass, and get some sun. I actually had a headache before smoking on this, but after a couple of bowls it was completely gone. Good for stress relief (possibly anxiety), relaxation, and headaches. Good daytime strain.
I'm glad that I was given a sample of this, because I passed it up due to its look. Shame on me, because it is a good batch of Blue Dream. Evergreen is 3 for 3, so we'll be going back soon. We look forward to trying their other meds.
