AROMA: Nice pungent scent that is reminiscent of fresh soil with a extremely deep earthiness to it. It has a slight lemon pine after scent that sticks in the nostrils. It's pungent from the nug itself, but after being ground up the pungency skyrockets. It's a great smelling OG overall.
TASTE: Oddly enough there is almost no taste at first, even though the smoke is thick and creamy. All the flavor is reserved in the back end after taste, leaving a heavy lemon pine flavor on the tongue, while the earthiness stays in the nostrils after exhale. There is a good amount of lung expansion too, so if you don't like coughing don't take big hits of this.
LOOK: Slight foxtail nug structure, this batch of Fire OG is very attractive. The compact and fairly dense nugs, while still remaining a little airy (aka not "rock pot"). It is a very attractive strain, and honestly looks better than any photos I could get of it. Some of the trichome caps are visible to the naked eye, which is why I grabbed this right away. The light green nugs are accented by the dark orange hairs, coupled with dark shaded leaves.
EFFECTS: Heavy indica dom (probably a 80/20, if not 90/10) that makes the eyes heavier and heavier after each hit. It loosened up my sore back and neck within minutes, and put me in a relaxed state. It also relieved the joint pain in my knee, which has been bothering me all week. There is a slight cerebral side to it that is surprisingly uplifting. Great for pain relief, joint relief, sore muscles, relaxation, and sleep aid. Great nighttime strain.
There is a lot of Fire OG's out there, but this one is pretty special. It reminded me of the first time I saw Fire OG, years ago, so it has a "classic" look to me. I'm very happy with this, and would recommend it to everybody. (Side Note: Another reviewer, who was reviewing waxes all day, tried this, and also approved).
