CanniCorner: Hazy OG (Super Silver Haze x Tahoe OG)

AROMA: There is a very sweet scent to this strain from the jar/nug itself that is very reminiscent of SSH, which also overpowers everything else. It isn't the most pungent strain from the nug, but once some are ground up the scent becomes almost too strong. The sweet SSH smell becomes very strong, but a tangy lemon diesel OG kush scent powers through too. It is a very unique, but great, smelling strain. The aroma is what drew me to it in the first place.

TASTE: There is very thick and creamy smoke with this strain that leaves a very full flavor on the tongue & lips as soon as it hits them. The sweet flavor becomes a bit overpowered by the poignant lemon diesel OG Kush flavor, but still has a nice balance between the two. There is a substantial amount of lung expansion, not to the point where it hurts, but this strain will cause at least a few chest clearing coughs. There is that classic kush burn in the sinuses also that is accentuated in the aftertaste/effects. Great flavor to this strain for anyone who likes sweet tasting OG's.

LOOK: Light green nugs with light, almost peach, colored pistils, the nugs themselves are covered in opaque trichomes. The cloudiness of the trichs actually give this strain a bit of a flat look, so don't be fooled by it. The nugs I got were a bit airy, but definitely nothing to complain about. The manicure could have been done a little better, but again, nothing to complain about. (Pro Tip: Pull off & save stray leaves and stems to make CannaTea). It's an attractive strain nonetheless.

EFFECTS: I may be a little biased towards this strain, because I'm a fan of both Tahoe OG and SSH, but nonetheless it is definitely a exceptionally potent sativa dom hybrid. There is a powerful cerebral kick that leaves one in an insouciant state, with just enough indica to relax the entire body. Slight pressure at the back of the eyes give more of an eye-opening effect than an eye closing one at first, but eventually the lids get heavy. The relatively quick onset and intensity of the high may not be good for anxiety, but it is great for stress relief. It is also good for mild pain relief, and appetite gain. Great all day strain, but should only be a daytime strain for heavy use patients.

Wow...just...wow. I always enjoy seeing new crosses, especially of strains that I already like, but this batch is amazing. It reminds me of Kaia Kush (OG Kush x SSH - 2007 Cannabis Cup 1st Place Sativa) by Apothecary Seeds, so the breeders of this strain definitely know what they're doing. If you enjoy the a heavy sativa dom hybrid than definitely check this strain out as soon as possible.
