CanniCorner: Platinum Kush (Bubba Kush)

AROMA: There is a very earthy pine scent to this that overpowers anything else from the nug. Once a nug is ground up a hint of ground up coffee appears coupled with a tiny bit of lemon. It isn't the most pungent strain out there, even after being ground, but has a pleasant scent to it.

TASTE: Thick and creamy smoke that actually has a sweet flavor to it, the earthy pine becomes apparent in the aftertaste (which lingers on the tongue). There isn't a burn in the nostrils, but there is good lung expansion that causes a couple of chest clearing coughs. The earthiness to the flavor gives it that classic kush taste to it though.

LOOK: Dense large popcorn structured nugs with a hunter green hue, the bright orange hairs seem to pop out everywhere. There is good trich structure in some areas, but this is by no means a "frosty" strain. The manicure job was done well considering the amount of sugar leaves this strain produces. It still has an attractive look to it that drew my attention though.

EFFECTS: There is a great relaxing body high to this strain that is very balanced between mellow and intense. It dances on the line between the two right away, and stays there for awhile. After about 20 minutes or so, for me, the high lowered to the mellow level and left me very relaxed. There was very slight pressure on top of the eyes that made the lids a little heavy. Sore muscles and back pain were gone, so this strain is good for pain relief, relaxation, and sleep aid. Great midday to nighttime strain.

This Platinum Kush from CCC has that classic earthy kush flavor, and that earthy pine scent. Considering that it's on their "mid" shelf, and goes down to $35 on their weekly specials; it's a great batch. It's a good batch that should be checked out.
