AROMA: There is a very deep earthy pine with a slight lemon diesel fuel smell to this strain. It isn't all that pungent from the nug, to be completely honest, but gets there once nugs are ground up. The earthiness to the aroma is what stands out the most though.
TASTE: The flavor of this strain is much stronger than the aroma suggest, as it has a very heavy lemon diesel fuel taste to it. The earthiness disappears from the flavor on the tongue, but reappears heavy in the sinuses and in the aftertaste. It also has that classic Kush burn in the nostrils that makes the eyes water. The smoke isn't as creamy as other strains from GSPA, but the flavor is still there.
LOOK: Classic foxtail nug structure with dense nugs, but the trich structure looked like it was lacking. I ended up getting a gram and realized that I was wrong in my assumption. The strain has a lot of shorter stalked trichomes which doesn't give this strain the classic frosty look as other GSPA strains have. The copper colored hairs give the nugs a nice accent to the trichomes in some areas though.
EFFECTS: There is a gradual onset to this high that brings about a nice relaxing couch lock effect. It's a decently heavy indica, not the hardest hitting there is, but one that is good to relax with after work. It relaxes the muscles within minutes, and relieved the pain in my back. It also puts very slight, but nice, pressure at the back of the head and neck. Good for pain relief, stress relief, and sleep aid. Great midday to nighttime strain.
I was looking forward to checking out this strain from GSPA...since it is named after Nesta Robert "Bob" Marley. I'll be completely honest... I was expecting a more attractive strain, but wasn't disappointed by the effects. As tribute I played one of my favorite songs of his while medicating to this, and it is definitely a good strain to chill and listen to music with. Happy belated birthday, Bob. You will be everliving for eternity through your music.
