DESIGN: The VaporCone Elite has its patent-pending VaporCone ceramic skillet system inside the 2cm deep chamber that can vape wax, oils, kief, and even flowers. The chamber itself is approximately 1.3 cm across and 2 cm deep, which gives plenty of room for any plant or concentrate materials. It comes with a USB cable charger, the VaporCome XL Attachment along with its battery, and its small and sturdy VaporCone Deluxe Carrying Case. The battery is compatible with any 510 E-Cig attachments (including the VaporCone Discreet Attachment and the VaporCone Liquid Tank), while the VaporCone XL Attachment is alternatively also compatible with most other 510 E-Cig batteries. Considering that VaporCone also carries a VaporCone Discreet Kit ($44.95), the VaporCone Elite Kit is still relatively discreet on its own.
FUNCTIONALITY: The coil itself takes about 3 to 5 seconds to fully heat up, so it is by no means the fastest heating vaporizer on the market. However, the VaporCone ceramic skillet system is what makes the difference, since it vapes the material much more evenly. It can vape wax, hash oils, glycerin cartridges, kief, and even flowers. The greatest thing, in my opinion, is the fact that the chamber can be cleaned with alcohol. That's right...you can clean the chamber yourself. If the chamber is cleaned regularly it should last quite a long time, at least three to six months.
The VaporCone vaporizer, with its unique ceramic skillet and ability to vape almost any form of cannabis, sets itself apart from the rest. The durability of it will have to be tested (an update will be forthcoming) in the long run, but it's definitely made a great first impression.
NOTE: VaporCone is going to be releasing a new case with a solar panel that can charge the pen and a cell phone (micro usb & iphone) in the near future.
DURABILITY UPDATE: Two cartridges and a battery broke within one month. The Medstick did the return quickly and professionally though.
