AROMA: This Butterscotch Skunk Wax has a very pungent smell to it, which is a mix between an earthy pine and a light skunk essence. Extracts by Z have a special technique that gives all of their waxes an earthy pine, almost spicy, side to the aroma, so do not be fooled into thinking they're all the same. This particular wax smells like an exponentially stronger version of the flower, with that earthy and spicy pine kick. It's a very pungent wax that almost stings the sinuses after a deep inhale.
TASTE: The flavor of this wax tastes like a stronger version of the flower, with a spicy undertone to it. It also keeps its earthy side, but loses some of the pine in the flavor. It isn't lacking in any department, it is that the spicy skunk overtakes the pine. It's great tasting wax, especially if you've tried the flower.
LOOK: Honeycomb/crumble/cookie consistency, it really is a mixture of all of those types of wax, and has an attractive blonde hue to it. It is a clean wax with no visible plant matter that is easier to work with than most other crumble-like waxes. Great looking wax made from nugs of a great strain.
EFFECTS: The effects actually have a gradual onset, for a concentrate at least, and are heavy on the sativa effects. It puts slight pressure at the back of the eyes, and puts one into a euphoric almost trance-like state. Regardless of that, it is still a good daytime wax, and one that might actually help with anxiety (for patients with very high tolerances). Good for stress relief, possibly anxiety (high tolerance), and mild pain relief. Great daytime wax for experienced smokers, and midday for most.
Yes, it is true, Extracts by Z have been spotted in Orange County! I won't name any names, but there are way too many clubs in OC that are selling unpurged, possibly dangerous, concentrates, so it is GREAT to see Extracts by Z down here. This Butterscotch Skunk Wax is another great example of theirs, and a treat to try after being able to smoke the flower it comes from.
