CanniCorner: California's Finest 130mg (Peanut Butter Cup)

TASTE: Strictly going off of taste, this is one of my favorite tasting chocolates that I've ever had. I'm partial to peanut butter, but the hash oil mixes perfectly with the chocolate and peanut butter. I was not expecting much out of the peanut butter flavoring in all honesty, but it really stands out. The peanut butter is actually what hides the flavor of the hash oil the most, but doesn't overpower the chocolate. Great balance between the flavors, and just the right amount of peanut butter. It truly is a great tasting chocolate bar, and its great taste had me worried about its potency, at first. (NOTE: An entire bar was eaten for the purpose of the review; not recommended).

EFFECTS: Eaten at 10:30 AM, by about 11:18 AM the effects began to trickle in. Eyelids began to get heavy, and the body began to tingle a tiny bit. By 11:30 AM the effects fully kicked in, relaxing the body, and making the eyelids even heavier. It had similar effects as the 200mg, but less of a mind-clearing cerebral kick. There are 6 pieces total, which should make each piece around 21mg of THC. It is still relatively strong, considering it is 130mg, and the second bar that did well. It honestly did better than expected, which is always a nice surprise. (The consistency of Heavy Brand potency seems to be there, but we'll see after one more bar).

The chocolate of the big bar melted relatively quickly, like the smaller 200mg bar did, so that could be of some concern. It isn't a huge issue, but this isn't a bar that would survive in a pocket for any extended period of time. However, the flavor of this Peanut Butter Cup bar is outstanding, and its potency is there...even for a high tolerance patient like myself. It isn't the strongest bar there is, but what it may slightly lack in potency it makes up with in flavor.
