Sativa
Price: $35 per 1/8th (Promo Deal)
AROMA: The classic sweet pine aroma of Jack Herer is excessively prevalent from both the nug, and after some are ground up. It leans much more towards the sweeter side than the pine side, and has an overall pleasant smell to it (even to non-smokers). It may not be the most pungent strain there is, but it is definitely a great smelling one.
TASTE: The sweet side dissipates in the taste, as there is only a hint of sweetness to it. An earthy pine essence takes over on the taste buds, and in the sinuses. Interestingly enough there is a creaminess to the flavor that wasn't expected at all. There is decent lung expansion, nothing to take note of, but not entirely missing. It has a more pungent flavor than Jack Herer itself, so it's not surprising that this is a cubed version of it.
LOOK: Fox tail nug structure with ridiculously swollen calyxes, this strain is quite attractive. It looks like a beefed up version of Jack Herer (which, technically it is), with its light green nugs and light orange hairs. The trichome structure, and amount of trichs, is amazing, and it gives this strain a great look. It doesn't have as much of a "frosty" appearance as other strains, but that is because of the opaqueness of the the trichs. It is a great looking strain.
EFFECTS: Gradual onset sativa high with an extra relaxing sensation at the back of the neck and shoulders. There is light pressure at the top of the eyes, and a soothing pressure around the temples. The effects are sort of time "altering", as it is easy to forget what you're doing and zone out. There is also a euphoric side to the effects, though it isn't constant, that still has its "moments". Great for stress relief, relaxation, and possibly anxiety. Good midday strain (may not be good for the daytime because of the "zoning out").
Second strain review for Anaheim Patient Group, and it is another good one. I've seen this strain around at other places, but am glad I waited to try APG's. It is a good cut of a beefed up classic strain, so any fans of Jack Herer should check this out.
