AROMA: The genetics of this strain were kept a secret from me, as the only thing I was told is "It's G Kush. That's all I can say." However, the smell has a very strong Bubba Kush scent to it that with earthy pine-like undertones. In all honesty, to me, it smells like a Bubba Kush plant in the middle of a redwood forest after a light rain. It doesn't have a very pungent kick to the scent, but more of an aromatic pleasant aroma. It's a great smelling strain, and one that will definitely remind you of a good Bubba Kush.
TASTE: The thick and creamy smoke give off a flavorful hit right away, that tickles the taste buds with an extremely earthy pine flavor. After you inhale a hit the flavor slowly changes into a sweet Bubba flavor that stays heavy in the aftertaste. Even though the smoke is thick it is as smooth as smooth gets, and the heaviest of hits don't cause much coughing. That aspect is surprising considering the heavy leaves and calyxes with purple streaks.
LOOK: Absolutely gorgeous nugs, and honestly looks a lot like the Banana OG out of CCC (that placed 3rd in the Cannabis Cup hybrid category). Light green nugs with faint, peach colored hairs, the nug formation is a mix between popcorn and foxtail. It definitely has an interesting structure, and extremely attractive violet streaks shooting through the swollen calyxes. The trichomes absolutely cake the entire nug, and have plump caps at the ends of the stalks. Personally...this is one of my top 3 favorite looking strains from CCC.
EFFECTS: Relatively quick onset high that hits directly at the back of the eyes at first, and then spreads through the head leaving an interesting cerebral kick. The sativa effects leave one feeling like they're in the clouds, and quite euphoric. The indica effects take a couple of minutes to kick in, but when they do they are heavy. Extremely relaxing effects that leave one in couch lock, and makes it very easy to simply zone out. It is a heavy and stoney high combined with good medicinal qualities. Great for patients looking for both. Good for pain relief, stress relief, sleep aid, and appetite gain. Great midday to nighttime strain.
The genetics of the strain were kept a secret, and one of the few strains that CCC wouldn't tell me about. I'm pretty sure it has a Bubba Kush crossed in it, but the others elude me. The intrigue drew me to the strain, and its characteristics kept me medicating with it. It's an amazing strain that will still get you heavily medicated, even after a long day of dabbing.
