AROMA: There is a very earthy pine scent to this that is very pungent, almost to the point of being perfume-like but not like chemicals. It has a very strong scent to it that reminds me of jasmine flowers.
TASTE: The pine disappears from the flavor, but the earthy undertone becomes extremely apparent. There is a ridiculous amount of lung expansion to this strain, which caused quite a bit of coughing after a large dab. It's well purged because there is no butane taste, or a burning sensation in the lungs or throat after a big hit.
LOOK: There is a slightly dark tan hue that looked as if this wax was kissed by the sun, I can understand where it may have gotten its name. It leans more towards the crumble side than budder, so heating the dabber a bit before handling is best. It's an attractive wax
EFFECTS: This is another potent wax coming out of CCC. For me, this is a sativa dominant hybrid with a strong cerebral side that has both a stoney and mind clearing high. The pressure on the eyes starts at the back of the eyes and slowly creeps forward until it settles right at the top of the lids. The body high is slight yet still relaxing, and begins on the back of the neck down the back. Potent wax that is a good stress reliever, and good for relaxation. Great midday concentrate.
CCC and Z deliver yet another well purged, and well made wax. The word is that their waxes are all nug run, and is something that I could believe. All of their waxes have been high quality, and this OG Sunrise is no different. CCC is definitely stepping up their concentrate game.
