AROMA: The scent of this batch of Blue Dream has a nice balance between the sweetness of the Blueberry, and the skunk of the Haze. It is very aromatic from the nug itself, and surprisingly doesn't have any organic/outdoor-ish scent that can usually be attributed to organic strains. The aroma is entirely of Blue Dream, and an extremely pungent one at that. Once nugs around ground the sweetness of the Blueberry becomes more apparent than the skunky Haze. Great smelling Blue Dream for sure.
TASTE: The thick and creamy smoke gives off a great fruity flavor at first, making the Blueberry side very apparent. It is then followed by the skunky nature of the Haze, which overpowers the aftertaste. There is also an earthiness to the flavor, missing from the scent, that gives it a nice twist. The earthiness stays on the tongue in the aftertaste too, so, like with most organic strains, this is a full flavored, great tasting Blue Dream.
LOOK: I really don't know how, but the organic strains that come out of GSPA are better than some of the non-organics. This Organic Blue Dream and their Organic Lavender Kush are some of the best looking examples of those strains, period. Light green nugs with popcorn structure, this batch as the classic peach colored pistils that accent the abundance of trichomes. Under a Kindscope the trichomes are almost all capped with bulbous and opaque heads, giving it a frosty look. Great looking batch of Blue Dream, and amazing that it is organic.
EFFECTS: Relatively quicker onset than from other Blue Dream strains, but with the same signature all encompassing pressure around the eyes. The euphoric kick of this batch is particularly strong with an increasingly carefree sensation. The effects are uplifting, yet still relaxing, and level off at a rather high level. The high then gradually goes down instead of dropping off completely. Good for stress relief, possibly anxiety, relaxation, and appetite gain. Great daytime to midday strain.
I know Blue Dream has been done more than once already, but considering its popularity we believe you'll give us a pass. Especially since this particular Blue Dream is organic, and an amazing one at that. Any patients looking for organic strains absolutely need to check this Blue Dream out.
