STRUCTURE:The standard 5mm glass (7mm at the base) glass is, yet again, constructed into a bottom heavy sturdy piece. The balance and weight of the pieces from Pulse Glass is the most surprising aspect, as all of the pieces we've reviewed are well balanced. The Nano, even though it is far less than the Inline or Stemline, still has well blownglass. The reason that it is within the $200 range is because it has a downstem instead of an Inline or Stemline percolator. The Double Showerhead and top percolator are constructed in a similar manner as the Inline, but without an ice catcher. The downsteam and slide are both high quality glass that can withstand an accidental drop.
FUNCTIONALITY: There is, obviously, a striking difference between the way the Nano and Inline hit. However, having said that, the amount of diffusion that the Nano has with the double showerhead perc is still better than most other pieceswithin its price range. The downstemcauses the piece to have a much more familiar pull to it that is remiscient of other high quality water pipes. The most amazing thing about Pulse Glass pieces is the amount of diffusion all of them have. Even though this Nano has a downstem, the flavor from flowers is still kept intactwith the showerhead perc. It doesn't keep hits as flavorful as the Stemline or Inline, but does a surprisingly good job nonetheless.
The Double Showerhead Nano delivers even without additional diffusion from a stemline or inline percolator, and well within affordable limits foranyone looking for high quality glass. The fact that one of our reviewers paid $180 for a bubbler, from a different well known glass company, shows how good of a deal this water pipe is. It is definitely a piece that should be looked at by anyone shopping in its price range.
