Indica Dominant Hybrid

AROMA: The sheer pungent nature of this strain will have you reeling. It is ridiculously stinky, as this one nug stunk up my entire car on the way home. A fruity sweetness couple by an extremely sour lemon twist, this strain has the classic Chemdawg smell to it, and a pungent one at that. Once nugs are ground up the smell because rather intense. A big inhale will make your eyes open wide and burn your sinuses a little bit. GREAT smelling strain that will take you back to the old days of OG.
TASTE: I was a little worried that the taste might not live up to the pungent smell, but it does...oh it does. The fruity sweetness attacks the taste buds first with the creamy smoke, but then becomes overpowered by a sour lemon flavor. It actually tasted like a Lemonhead with an earthy twist, even in the aftertaste. The burn in the sinuses is relatively intense, so I would not suggest exhaling through the nose (unless you like the sensation). The flavor actually surpasses the pungent scent, as it is an amazing tasting strain.
LOOK: Tear drop nug structure with the stray sugar leaf here and there (nothing to complain about), with peach colored hairs that are hidden by the amazing trichomes. The nugs are absolutely caked in capped trichomes, which are hard to see with the naked eye. This strain definitely needs a closer look, because it isn't nearly as attractive from far away. A look up close, and at certain angles, will show the trichomes shimmer in the light. Definitely an attractive strain that needs to be checked out.
EFFECTS: The effects were very interesting, because they went from sativa to hybrid to heavy indica within about 15 minutes. There is a relatively intense cerebral & euphoric kick, at first, that rests gently at the top of the head, and back of the neck. It then places pleasant pressure around the eyes, and causes them to get a bit heavy. Then the body high slowly puts one into a relaxed state that gradually becomes more and more intense, until a couch-lock effect is achieved. Good for stress relief (possibly anxiety), pain relief, relaxation, and appetite gain. Great midday to nighttime strain.
GSPA delivers another well grown, great cross to the shelves. I'm not going to try and argue the origins of either, because that would be pointless. I will argue that this particular batch is an extremely potent one that needs to be checked out by anyone looking for a heavy indica with an interesting sativa kick. Great medicinal qualities to the strain too.
