AROMA: This strain has a ridiculously unique smell to it, with a perfect mixture of the earthy pine from the Bubba and the sweet skunk, almost sour, from the Green Crack. From the nugs themselves a sour pine is the most apparent aroma, while the sweet side becomes extremely pungent once nugs are ground up. The smell of this strain is one of the most unique smelling strains I've come across, especially since the sweet side is hidden within the unbroken trichomes.
TASTE: The initial flavor of the smoke is reminiscent of Green Crack with the aftertaste leaning towards the Bubba Kush. A sweet, almost sour, flavor hits the taste buds immediately, with the an earthy pine becoming stronger and stronger until the it overpowers the aftertaste. There is decent lung expansion with this strain, so there is a few chest clearing coughs. The flavor is just as unique as the smell, and has an almost flowery taste to in smaller amounts. GREAT tasting strain with a unique twist.
LOOK: Interestingly enough this strain looks exactly like what Bubba Kush crossed with Green Crack should. Popcorn nug structure with tight, dense light green Bubba like nugs, and long, dark copper colored pistils shooting everywhere. The trichomes have thicker than normal stalks, bulbous caps, and are almost all cloudy. The thickness and cloudiness of the stalks give the strain a very frosty look, and it almost looks like a bright version of 2010. Great looking strain that has a lot of endearing characteristics.
EFFECTS: This hybrid has an almost perfectly balanced high to it, with a relaxing body high coupled with a subtle, yet euphoric cerebral side. It is a potent hybrid with heavy effects. There is pressure at the back of the eyes causing the eyelids to become heavy, with the euphoric side putting a smile on my face. It is interesting because it felt as if the high switched between indica and sativa depending what I was doing. While writing this review the sativa effects kicked in, but afterwards the indica effects kicked in while watching a movie. Definitely a high that is as unique as its smell and taste. Good for mild pain relief, stress relief (possibly anxiety), relaxation, and appetite gain. Great daytime to midday strain.
Bubba Kush and Green Crack, both extremely well known strains in the cannabis community, were combined to deliver this potent powerhouse. Almost all of its characteristics are as unique as the cross itself. GSPA delivers on yet another unique strain with great medicinal qualities, making it a treat to have been able to try.
