AROMA: Hefty mixture of pine and skunk with a sweet side to it, and smells exactly like Green Crack should. It sort of has a lime-like side to it too. The smell is pungent from the nugs, with the sweet side being the strongest aspect, and after nugs are ground up skunk side becomes stronger. It truly is one of the better smelling Green Cracks we've come across, and is definitely a great smelling strain.
TASTE: The flavor this isn't as good as the smell, but that very well could be due to how good the aroma is. It is still a great tasting batch of Green Crack, but in all honesty the aroma is better than the flavor (by only a little). The sweet side almost disappears completely initially, as an earthy, gritty pine absolutely overpowers the flavor. The sweet side comes around in the aftertaste, especially in the nostrils after the smoke burns the sinuses.
LOOK: If the dictionary had a Green Crack entry than a picture of this batch would be used as an example. Dark green nugs with bright orange hairs, the trichomes are so abundant that it gives the green a much lighter shaded appearance. The calyxes are swollen, but still can't contain the long and thick pistils. The nugs also have a dense appearance, but break up rather easily into a nice fluffy consistency.
EFFECTS: Potent cut of Green Crack that has a extremely energizing high, with just enough indica (90%/10% sativa dom) to relax the body a bit. The cerebral effect with this high is heavy, as lights got brighter and colors became more vibrant, and a euphoric side that had me chuckling at the slightest jokes on TV. The onset of the high is relatively quick, but not an instant head changer. However, the high does intensify to a level that was more than surprising, with an "energizing calm". Good for stress relief, possibly anxiety, mild pain relief, and appetite gain. Great daytime to midday strain.
Green Crack, rumored to have been bred in Georgia and named by Snoop Dogg, is a staple strain in the medical marijuana industry. It is a strain that has been at almost every single collective, and at some all the time. Its energizing and euphoric high have people coming back for me, and part of the rumor is that Snoop Dogg gave it that moniker for this very reason. GSPA's cut of Green Crack is a step above the rest, and was an absolutely treat to try.
