CanniCorner: Kingcore OG (King Louis OG x Hardcore OG)

AROMA: Heavy lemon diesel scent coupled by skunk, this Kingcore OG has a classic, pungent OG smell to it. From a nug itself the skunk is the stronger of the two scents, but after being ground up the lemon diesel overpowers the skunk and becomes extremely pungent. There is also a hint of pine hidden within the aroma that is only apparent after a deep inhale. It's a great smelling cut of OG, and a unique cross.

TASTE: The taste is almost exactly like the flavor, but with a spicy kick to it that was missing from the aroma. The hidden pine in the aroma takes a step forward in the flavor, especially in the aftertaste. The lemon diesel skunk flavor is apparent throughout the entire process, from hit to aftertaste. There is also an earthiness to the aftertaste that lingers on the tongue and in the sinuses. Great tasting cut of OG out of HWC.

LOOK: Classic OG Kush structure with dense nugs, the hunter green is given a lighter color due to the amount of trichomes. The dark copper colored hairs are long, and streak out of the plump calyxes in every direction. The trichomes, under a microscope, look like golf balls sitting on top of tees, as the caps are extremely bulbous. The stalks are also thick, and most of the trichomes are cloudy if not amber. It is a great looking cut of OG, and definitely one that needs to be checked out.

EFFECTS: The effects are definitely a "creeper" that take 10 to 15 minutes to fully kick in. Initially the effects are a light indica with little to no sativa effects, but after about 10 minutes the effects intensify. The body high becomes heavy and results in a "couch-lock" effect, and a slight sativa side peaks through. Pressure at the back of the eyes cause the eyelids to become heavy, but a light cerebral kick keeps the mind awake. It is a relaxing high that would do well after a long day at work. Good for pain relief, stress relief, sleep aid, and appetite gain. Great midday to nighttime strain.

This Kingcore OG is definitely a potent cut of OG coming out of HWC, and one that is made from a unique cross. King Louie OG & Hardcore OG are both potent cuts which were combined to deliver this powerhouse. It is a heavy indica with great, long lasting effects, and was a treat to try since it flew on the shelves.
