Lemon Durban (Lemon Kush x Durban Poison)

Sativa
Golden State Patients Association
Price: $45 per 1/8th

AROMA:  There is a great combination of spicy pine skunk and tangy lemon diesel scents emanating from the nugs. It's pungent nature is masked from a nug itself, but once one is broken up the tangy lemon diesel aroma immediately takes hold of your senses. A deep inhale reveals the spicy pine skunk essence deep within the aroma which is a bit hidden by a sweet smelling undertone. Great smelling strain that smells exactly like its crosses.

TASTE:  A sweet tangy lemon sensation takes hold of the taste buds and doesn't let go until long after a hit is exhaled. The pine skunk takes hold in the aftertaste, and feels like it can be tasted deep within the lungs (I know this doesn't make much sense). It is also prevalent in the sinuses, so if a hit is exhaled through the nose a pine skunk scent lingers. The flavor of the strain wasn't as pungent as I was expecting it to be, but is a great tasting strain nonetheless.

LOOK:  Classic "wild and angry" Durban Poison tear drop nug structure, the light green nugs are absolutely caked in trichomes that practically hide the peach colored hairs. The leaves are a bit long, but absolutely caked in trichomes (Pro Tip: Pick off stray leaves and keep them in a container, along with stems, to make Tea!) It is an attractive strain that reminds me of the look for their Pure Lights, which was also another powerfully potent sativa.

EFFECTS:  Head clearing, yet heavy, potent sativa high that takes hold of the senses almost immediately. There is light pressure on the eyes that causes them to open, instead of close, and actually makes them easier to focus. There is a slight body high, but it is mostly concentrated at the back of the head and neck. This is another sativa that is so heavy that it causes colors and lights to be a little bit more vibrant, making this a great daytime strain. Good for stress relief, anxiety, and mild pain relief. Great daytime to midday strain.

Unique crosses are GSPA's forte, as they deliver them time and time again. This Lemon Durban is an excellent example of a well bred strain that appears to be completely stable (no nanners/pods/seeds/shells/etc), so they know what they're doing. They take pride in the fact that they only put meds they medicate with themselves on the shelves, and it shows with every strain
