CanniCorner: Master Kush (Inbred Hindu Kush x Skunk)

AROMA: This Master Kush has an earthy pine aroma with a hefty skunk undertone, it's a great smelling Master. It is pungent from the nugs themselves, but have an even stronger stench one nugs are ground up. There is no other $35 an 1/8th Master Kush with this kind of aroma to it...nowhere. Since it is an indoor strain it has a great scent to it, and definitely indicative of Master Kush.

TASTE: The flavor has the classic gritty, earthy, and almost dirt-like pine kush flavor to it, but is heavier than most Master Kushes out there. The skunk doesn't appear until the aftertaste, which leaves a sweet sensation on the taste buds. The earthiness lingers in the nostrils after an exhale, and also burns the sinuses a bit. It has a bit of lung expansion, but nothing beyond a cough or two. It is definitely a Master Kush, and a flavorful one at that.

LOOK: Price tag be damned, this is a great looking example of Master Kush. Classic foxtail nug structure with a good manicure (for the strain), the light green nugs are surrounded by bright orange pistils. The trichomes give the strain a frosty look, though there aren't as many heads on the stalks as usual. Regardless of that, there are still a good amount of bulbous stalks, which make the nugs shiny at certain angles of light. It's an attractive strain that looks amazing for $35.

EFFECTS: Gradual onset high with moderately heavy indica effects, the high slowly relaxes the body until it "melts" into a seat. There is very light pressure at the back of the eyes that causes the eyelids to get a little heavy, and a slight cerebral kick. It does not have the highest "stoney" effect, but the body high more than makes up for it. The pain in back disappeared when the high fully kicked in, and left me in an extremely relaxed state. Good medicinal qualities for stress relief (possibly anxiety due to the gradual onset, and low cerebral high), pain relief, and sleep aid. Good nighttime strain.

Master Kush is a staple strain around the medical marijuana community, and, quite frankly, around the world. There are few people that haven't heard of Master Kush, and there is a reason why it hasn't been reviewed yet. Great cuts of Master Kush are few and far between these days, but after seeing this at such a low donation...it was something that had to be done. Don't let the $35 per 1/8th price tag fool you, because this is a potent Master Kush. The price is not indicative to the quality, as I was informed that the Master Kush was obtained at a very good price. GSPA, in turn, is offering the strain at a lower donation rate, because that's how they are...how a true collective should be.
