AROMA: Pungent OG aroma with a subtle coffee, almost chocolate-like, undertone. It has the Extracts by Z signature earthy pine and skunk scent to it also. It is not as tangy or sharp as the Butterscotch Skunk Wax, but still has pungent nature to it that surpassed other waxes. It isn't my favorite smelling concentrate by Z, but still smells great.
TASTE: Full OG flavor that hits the taste buds as soon as the smoke reaches them, and immediately upon exhale the classic OG burn is felt in the sinuses. There is also a good amount of lung contraction, so it causes quite a few chest clearing coughs. This should not be mistaken as a bad thing, as lung contraction is typical with a well grown OG Kush. The aftertaste leaves a subtle, yet nice, lemony essence on both the tongue and in the nostrils. Great wax that tastes better than the aroma suggests.
LOOK: It looks exactly like a cookies made out of Swiss cheese. The purge on this wax was done extremely well, so there is no visible plant matter, bubbles, or anything. The texture is very easy to work with, as you can easily pick it up with your fingers without having any stick to them. The honeycomb/cookie/swiss cheese look is quite unique, and is hard not to keep looking at.
EFFECTS: Signature rush of sativa effects at first that slowly change into relatively heavy indica effects, this wax is one of the heavier indica dominant extracts by Z. There is a slight cerebral kick that remains constant, but eventually the effects relax the entire body. Sore muscles and pain disappeared quickly, and put me into an powerfully relaxed state. Great midday to nighttime wax, as anymore than a couple of dabs would put one to sleep.
It is definitely nice to see an indica dominant concentrate out of Extracts by Z, as the majority of them have tended to be more sativa dominant. The potency of this Platinum OG Wax is tremendously high and very long lasting. Definitely a dab that shouldn't be taken in the morning unless it is a lazy Sunday morning.
