Indica Dominant Hybrid

AROMA: The smell of Haze is the most prominent giving this strain a sweet and fruity scent. There is also a sort of an earthy pine side to the scent that is a bit hidden. It becomes extremely prevalent when nugs are ground up, with it also releasing more of the Haze and a bit of the "purp" aroma. It is missing the skunky lemon diesel scent I'm used to from OG, but instead the fruity and sweet Haze-like smell takes its place. It's not the stinkiest strain, but still smells good.
TASTE: The flavor is reminiscent more of the Super Silver Haze than the Grape Ape or OG Kush. It has a sweet flavor that hits the taste buds right away, but then dissipates into a nice earthy pine sensation. There isn't much of a "purp" flavor to it at all, though there are visible purple streaks in the leaves and some calyxes. It's a good tasting strain that has touches from all of its crosses.
LOOK: Tear drop nug structure that is absolutely caked in trichomes. The nugs are a light green, but have a much lighter appearance because of the trichs, with purple streaks in the leaves and calyxes. The short pistils are close to the nugs, but are still visible because of their dark orange hue. It's definitely an attractive strain because of its frosty look, and relatively dense nugs.
EFFECTS: This Silver Back OG is definitely a creeper, as it took about fifteen minutes or so for the full effects to kick in. It has a good amount of indica, which leaves the body relaxed, but also a decent sativa kick that leaves one feeling carefree. There is a pleasant sensation at the back of the head and neck, and did well for my sore back. Good for pain relief, stress relief, and relaxation. Great midday to nighttime strain.
This is an interesting cross, which is, I'm assuming Apothecary's, Silver Back crossed with OG Kush. I've actually never had the pleasure of medicating with Silver Back by itself, so it's great to at least try a Silver Back OG. It is an attractive strain across the board, and tops off with pleasant effects. Definitely something to check out if you're interested in unique crosses.
