AROMA: There is a classic OG Kush scent to this strain with a combination of lemon diesel, pine, and skunk. The most prominent aspect of the aroma is the lemon diesel, which overpowers the pine and skunk. It really isn't the most pungent Yoda OG I've encountered, but it still has a pleasant smell that is similar to other Yoda OG's out there.
TASTE: The thick and creamy smoke put a heavy lemon diesel flavor on the taste buds, and is almost exactly like the smell. The pine side is stronger in the flavor than in the smell, with the skunk taking a backseat until the aftertaste. There is a slight burn in the throat if you take an extra large hit, but not apparent with normal hits. The flavor could be a bit stronger, but still has a nice lemony OG side to it.
LOOK: Tear drop nug structure with hunter green nugs, the calyxes are slightly swollen which cause the copper colored hairs to appear short. The manicure on the nugs could have definitely been done better, but they are definitely not overly leafy. The trichomes cover most of the nugs, but are lacking in a couple of areas. They still have bulbous caps, and are mostly cloudy and opaque though. It is not the best looking OG you'll see, but is still a good looking strain.
EFFECTS: Slight sativa kick that puts a hazy sensation around the forehead with a subtle cerebral and euphoric twist. The indica effects relax the body and do a decently good job of relieving pain. It doesn't have the highest medicinal qualities for pain relief, but the cerebral and euphoric twist put one into a carefree state of mind. There is a good balance between the indica and sativa effects. Good for minor pain relief, stress relief, and appetite gain. Good midday to nighttime strain.
Canna Grove Relief Center delivers another good cut of OG with this Yoda, and their deals can't be beat. This Yoda OG isn't as potent as the cut from the collective that won the cup with it, but is still relatively potent with long lasting effects.
