AROMA: The scent of 2010 is like no other strain you'll ever come across with a slight earthy pinesol, almost sage-like, skunk mixed with an aromatic floral side that is hard to describe. It's like standing in the middle of a botanical garden, that's in the middle of a redwood forest, during a breezy spring morning. It really is difficult to describe, because there really isn't anything like it. It truly is one of the most unique smelling strains there is, and is only available through Grizzly Genetics.
TASTE: The flavor of this strain is very similar to the taste, and just as unique. An earthy pinesol sage flavor kicks in at first, but is almost immediately overpowered by a floral flavor that is as indescribable as the aroma is. There is also a hash-like undertone in the taste, which isn't surprising considering the amount of trichomes caking the nugs. It also causes a good amount of lung expansion, so there are more than a few chest clearing coughs. The uniqueness of the flavor is like no other strain, and the strain itself, being hard to find, is like an expensive fine wine.
LOOK: There is no denying how good 2010 looks from both far away and up close, with its light green popcorn shaped nugs absolutely caked in trichomes. The swollen calyxes fail to hide the bright orange hairs as they pierce out of them. 2010 is the epitome of "frosty bud", as it looks like it was literally rolled around in snow. The trichomes are all, and I mean all, cloudy with a milky white hue to them. It is definitely one of the most attractive strains I've come across, and is one of my favorites.
EFFECTS: Heavy indica effects with an all body high, the effects of this strain are just as unique as the aroma and taste. It has a gradual onset that intensifies slowly until it hits a calming and relaxing level from head to toe. Even after a long day of medicating and dabbing this strain still hits hard and the effects are still long lasting. It does well in relaxing the muscles and relieving pain, and has a euphoric and cerebral side to it. Great for pain relief, stress relief, anxiety, and sleep aid. Great midday to nighttime strain.
The genetics of 2010 are a closely guarded secret...and is probably GSPA/Grizzly Genetics most well kept one. There's a lot of speculation as to its genetics, but we prefer to keep the mystery alive. You won't find a strain like this anywhere else except from Grizzly Genetics and GSPA. Unfortunately the prices at GSPA have gone up because of the cost and risk of doing delivery... It is still fortunate that strains of this quality will be available though. These truly are sad times for CA MMJ, so if there was ever a time for us to unite...it's now.
