AROMA: The smell of this strain is an insane sweet fruity sensation that takes hold of the sinuses immediately upon exhale. It has hints of J1 (Jack Herer x Skunk #1) throughout the scent, with an unique twist to it that is a bit like Memphis Belle. It's an interesting smell, and extremely aromatic. The terpenes in this strain are off the charts, and has an extremely pungent aroma. Great smelling strain regardless of what the genetics are.
TASTE: The sweet and fruity J1-like aroma translates into the flavor with a pungent punch that packs sweetness from start to finish. It also has a hefty pine aftertaste that lingers in the sinuses, and the fruitiness lingering on the taste buds. The lung expansion with this strain is ridiculous, and I can see why this strain is named what it is. There are a LOT of chest clearing coughs, but none of them are painful. The coughing is simply caused by the expansion. This is a really great tasting strain for any sativa lovers out there that enjoy a sweet and fruity flavor.
LOOK: Light green nugs with popcorn structure the slightly plump calyxes fail to hide the long and bright orange hairs. The pistils seem to shoot out in every direction, and rest within the crevices of the nugs nicely. The sugar leaves are a bit long, but are still caked with thick and bulbous trichomes. It has an almost shiny look to it under certain angles of light because of how abundant the trichs are. Aside from the stray leaves, this is an attractive strain with an interesting look.
EFFECTS: Wow...this is a heavy sativa. I completely forgot I was even writing this review for almost half an hour. There is a heavy sativa kick that puts the mind into a dream like state of complete carefree euphoria. This is an excellent strain to unwind with, and does wonders for stress. There is a rather intense body high too, but not an indica one. Rather than being relaxing the body high is energizing, but is still ridiculously heavy...so heavy that it can lock you into the couch in higher doses. Great for stress relief (not much for anxiety due to the intensity), relaxation, mild pain relief, and appetite gain. Great daytime to midday strain.
I'm not a big fan of the name, considering the fact that cannabis has never been linked to any respiratory diseases. I understand why it's named that way, because of the insane amount of lung expansion. Regardless of the moniker this is a potent sativa that kicks in heavy.
